Nino is a graduate of Houston Christian High School, Class of ‘08, where he was 3X TAPPS 1st team All-State selection, and was a part of the 2008 State Championship team. Shortly after his senior year of H.S., Nino was drafted by the Oakland Athletics where he spent 5 seasons in their Minor League system. He achieved two All-Star honors as an infielder & was also named MVP of the Midwest League All-Star game in 2011. Nino has established himself as an Instructor/Coach in the greater & surrounding Houston areas for the last 9 years; previously coached for Marucci Elite Houston & Twelve Baseball.
